The suggestions below are just hints as to what can be done in two hours and a half. They should not be seen as a set of standard tours.

• A bus ride through the downtown area, and a visit to Nymphenburg Palace (main rooms) or, preferably, Amalienburg in the park of Nymphenburg, or

• A bus ride through the downtown area, and a stroll through the Olympic Park, possibly with ascent to the Olympic hill offering a fantastic view of Munich, or

• A one-hour bus ride plus a one-and-a-half-hour walking tour through the historical centre, or

• A two-and-a-half-hour stroll including additional sights such as Hofgarten, Hofbräuhaus, Zeughaus, Asamkirche Michaelskirche, or else

• A bicycle tour through the historical centre, the downtown area, and along the river Isar, also including parts of the English Garden.
